Movies About Lifeguards You Can Watch at Home

Let’s face it — we’re all looking for a few more movie and TV show recommendations than usual. We’re all staying at home and doing the best we can do to keep our world as safe and healthy as possible, so while we’re at it… why not enjoy a few fun summer lifeguard movies? We can’t say with 100% honesty that these movies are true to real life, but they’re fun to watch!

1. Baywatch

You probably saw this one coming, but Baywatch is a fan-favorite in the lifeguarding world. Not to mention, we’re huge fans here at LifeguardTV (Minus the few raunchy scenes). Anyone who likes Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson and lifeguarding adventures is in for a treat with this remake.

2. The Lifeguard

With this title, we’re off to a good start! The Lifeguard stars Kristen Bell and chronicles the life of a successful NYC-based reporter who quits her job and goes back to her former job as a lifeguard.

3. Malibu Rescue

Okay, this one isn’t a movie — but it’s still something you can watch at home. Malibu Rescue is a Netflix series (with one season on the record) all about a group of junior lifeguards who are faced with a series of challenges to overcome as a group. It’s lighthearted and certainly gets you in the lifeguard and summer spirit!

Also, as Shark Week is just around the corner, another fun movie to watch is 47 Meters Down. Click here to check out the exclusive LifeguardTV® trailer.
