4 Lifeguard Must-Haves Items For Fall

Believe it or not, fall is right around the corner. The first official day of fall is September 22nd. Depending on where you live, that could mean colorful leaves and sweater weather or it could just feel like a continuation of summer. Either way, cold weather is on its way over the next several months. See what lifeguard essentials you can stock up on before it’s too late.

1. Lifeguard sweatpants

When there’s a chill in the air, bare legs are not ideal. Make sure to stock up on a good pair of lifeguard sweatpants that break the wind and keep you guarded against the cold.

2. Lifeguard hoodie

The only thing a pair of sweatpants is missing is a matching hoodie. For the initial days of fall, you may not need both — but it’s important to stock up now. Come winter, you’ll be wishing you had the whole hoodie + sweatpants ensemble to keep you warm.

3. Lifeguard beanie

Oftentimes, we forget to cover our heads from the cold. While it’s a myth that you lose 80% of your heat through your head, it’s certainly an important part of your body to keep warm — especially if you’re outside in the cold all day.

4. Lifeguard wind jacket

This one may or may not apply to you, depending on where you live. If you live in a climate that gets pretty windy, you’ll need a heavy-duty windbreaker jacket. You may even want to layer it over your hoodie!

Ready for fall? Be sure to stock up on your fall goodies before they get sold out. Staying warm will keep you on your toes and ready for anything that comes your way.
