What should a lifeguard apparel be on the first day of work?

We’ve all seen the typical lifeguard garb: bright red, white cross in the middle, and maybe a whistle or megaphone to complement the outfit. But is that really what everyone should wear? If you’re wondering what you should wear for your first day on the job, look no further. We’ve got you covered!

Standard lifeguard attire

You can never go wrong with a traditional lifeguard uniform — these come in all sizes and styles. You could opt for standard lifeguard board shorts or a traditional red one-piece suit. The great thing about wearing something traditional is you know you’ll be comfortable and easily spotted. The bright red lets people know you’re a lifeguard!

Two-tone uniforms

If you’re looking to add a little extra flair to your uniform, add another color. Lots of lifeguards opt for the red and blue pairing, but you’re free to pick two colors that really resonate with you.

Throw on a shirt

When in doubt, throw a shirt over your outfit! Buy a traditional lifeguard t-shirt and it’ll go with any outfit. It’s a safe option when you’re still trying to figure out the dress code but you also want to make it clear that you’re a lifeguard.

Ready for the big day? We bet you are! Regardless of what you wear, the most important thing is that you put safety first. And then, have fun with it! You have one of the coolest jobs in the world — don’t forget it!
