American Red Cross Dives Into Innovative Lifeguard Equipment

The American Red Cross recently expanded its Red Cross Store offerings to include an ever increasing variety of Lifeguard Equipment & Supplies. The Red Cross dove into the eCommerce space within the past several years amidst widespread consolidation in the Aquatics / Lifeguard online store sector.

Having already established a significant presence in online sales for items related to the first aid and CPR market, this latest expansion into Lifeguard Supplies & Equipment specific products is giving the Red Cross a solid position in the online realm of overall Safety Products. Among the new product additions that the Red Cross is now showcasing online, are the innovative new LIFE™ Rescue Tube and the ER7 Lifeguard Backboard. These products have seen significant acceptance and distribution in recent years among Aquatics and Lifeguard Personnel thus making them both a natural fit for the Red Cross.

The Red Cross online store has also added a wide selection of other Water Safety Essentials such as Whistles, Lanyards, Swim Fins, and Rescue Boards. Increasing their selection of CPR Masks and BVMs also seems to be a Red Cross eCommerce priority.

Finally the innovative new Red Cross Passive Drowning Silhouette Manikin is gaining a lot of attention for its unique use of the Lifeguard Dive Brick™. The Red Cross seems to be highly focused on Water Safety industry innovation over the past few years and the recent expansion of its eCommerce offering appears to play into that strategy.
