The Year 2020 Sees Many Innovative New Lifeguard Products
The year 2020 is not just a new year but also a new decade. To mark this historic occasion, numbers aquatic and lifeguard industry innovations are hitting the market like never before. Companies and associations are using this unique opportunity to be bold and introduce historic advancements in the field of aquatics and lifeguarding. As we have seen such recent advances in fields such as technology, medicine, and artificial intelligence, the field of aquatics, which has over the past 50 years or so been slower than other industries to innovate. Aquatic industry leaders have been aware of this slow rate of innovation and beginning just a few years ago have began a serious attempt to catch up with other industries.
The American Red Cross, by far the biggest name in aquatics in the United States, is taking on this challenge to innovate with recent advances in aquatics and lifeguarding product offerings and in

Red Cross Aquatic Examiners use the latest in technology and methods to audit facilities and staff periodically.
Lifeguard chair manufacturer Everondack, LLC has launched several new lifeguard chair models in 2020 focused primarily toward aquatic facilities featuring waterpark attractions and swimming pools that desire lifeguard chair mobility. 
The new Everondack® Round Platform Chair is targeted at both of these environments. It features an open concept design that allows lifeguards quick access to guests in distress and has wheels which make it easily portable to be moved to its desired use location.
